About the SCA
Saranap is the unincorporated area of Contra Costa County south of Highway 24 between Lafayette and Walnut Creek. The Saranap Community Association, Inc., is a California 501(c)(4) non-profit corporation whose goal is to create a community of self-help – neighbors helping neighbors to enhance the quality of life for all who live here. Membership is open to anyone residing in, doing business in, or otherwise having an interest in the Saranap.

The SCA board of directors meets monthly, usually on the first Thursday at 7:30 p.m., at the Lafayette fire station office of Supervisor Gayle Uilkema (3338 Mt. Diablo Blvd.). Everyone is welcome to attend and to bring business before the board. The agenda is posted on the home page of our Website a few days before each meeting. Meet our board members.

The SCA's annual membership meeting takes place in July. Information about the meeting is mailed to all Saranap residents and is posted on our Website several weeks beforehand. All Saranap residents are invited to attend.

If you re not a member of the SCA, we hope you ll consider joining! Our services are made possible through membership fees and donations from the community. Download the Membership Application.
