Saranap Village: Site by Site
Building C: Living Spaces Only
AUGUST17, 2014—Located on the south side of Boulevard way, next to Le Boulevard apartments, Site C, at 22,210 square feet, is the smallest of the four parcels that make up the proposed Saranap Village. It encompasses the long-shuttered LaRosa’s/Boulevard Market and the adjacent parking lot and the one-story building fronting Boulevard Way that now houses an art gallery and real estate firm.
The building on this site would be the only one in the project that does not include a retail business. The ground floor would be a parking garage with 48 spaces, which residents would access from Boulevard Way. On three floors above would be 24 one-, two-, and three-bedroom condos, including the largest units in the development, at 3,300 square feet. These would be for sale.
Mark Hall, president and CEO of Hall Equities Group, the developer, describes the building’s design as “Arts and Crafts, lodge-style architecture.” Plans show an open landscaped common area for “barbeque, lounging, and other activities” behind the building.
Just north of the building, but still part of Site C, would be the new driveway to the Boulevard Terrace condos, replacing the current one, on Site B1.
This rendering from Hall Equities Group shows what the building on Site C would look like. Le Boulevard apartments are in the background.
