Committees
The SCA board has organized its various functions into six committees. At present these committees consist only of board members, but we’ll be inviting non-board members (and new board members) to join these committees in the months to come.
Service Committee—will oversee the development and operation of our community-service component. Stephanie Monson.
Application Review Committee—will be primarily responsible for reviewing planning-permit applications forwarded to the board by the county’s Department of Conservation and Development. J. David Dacus and Charles Huddleston
Membership Committee—will oversee new-member recruitment, manage member-relations activities, and manage the membership database. Stephanie Monson
Communication Committee—will oversee publication of the newsletter, manage Website content, and be responsible for other media contacts. Scott Wallace
Legal Committee—will be responsible for making sure the board is compliant with applicable state and federal laws governing nonprofit organizations, and oversee the revision of our bylaws. Tighe O’Hanrahan
Finance Committee—will manage our books and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Tighe O’Hanrahan
