SCA Recommends Approval of King Estate Application,
With Requested Stipulations
At the advice of its Application Review Committee, the SCA responded to the county’s request to comment on the amended King Estate application with a letter recommending approval, with certain requested stipulations:
“The SCA recommends approval of the Amended Development Plan, with the consideration that the Applicant provide letters proving signoff and/or support of the project road grades by the Fire Marshall and the Public Works Department inspectors in the field. We would also recommend the Applicant provide evidence of the extent and placement of steeper slope mitigations, and how these differ from the original proposed/approved plans.
“We would further recommend the Applicant provide corroboration that waste disposal providers verify that their trucks and/or equipment will be able to provide both garbage and recycling content curbside removal for each proposed home site on the existing road grades. Also, we wish the County engineering advisors to be well satisfied that the type and extent of mitigation techniques proposed meet their expectations, and provide adequate public safety to immediate residents on site, and to those neighboring residents below and adjacent to the site.”
